	Stansted Guest House description: Complimentary light, self service breakfast is served from 03:00 (toast with selection of jams and marmalade, cereal, fruit juice, tea and coffee). Set in open countryside, Stansted Guest House offers traditional, spacious, well-equipped rooms. Only 3 minutes (half a mile) from the airport terminal, most rooms include free transfers, complimentary light breakfast available from 03:00 and 3 days free parking. See "Important Information" below for exclusions as must be booked in advance. Located between the village of Takeley and Stansted Airport, this is the closest off-site accommodation, only one kilometre from the airport terminal, set in 3 acres of mature gardens and surrounded by countryside.
	Area information A local village pub/ restaurant is only a 15 minute walk away or a short taxi ride. Various food is served up to 21.00 and snacks/pizza after and on Sundays/Bank Holidays. The airport railway station and coach terminal provides direct links to central London and the surrounding counties of Essex and Hertfordshire. London Liverpool Street station is only 45 minutes away via the Stansted Express and the historical city of Cambridge can be reached in just 30 minutes. Comments To guarantee transfers and reserve a parking space, we require the following information in advance by email: - estimated time of arrival at the guest house. - estimated time of departure. - return day if parking is required. Must be booked direct with the guest house by email to guarantee a space. 3 days free parking from morning of check-out, (excludes 1st April to 21st April and 1st July to 30th September and all bank holiday weekends). Parking within these dates or before your stay costs 5 GBP per day. Free airport transfers (must be booked in advance by email) are available from 16:00 to 23:00 and 06:00 to 10:00 (except Thursdays and excluding room only). Outside of this, taxis cost 5 GBP. Service is available in the morning only on 24th and 31st December (not available 25th and 26th December nor 1st January). Please collect your luggage 1st, then ring the guest house for a transfer. Please note that the guest house opens at 16:00 and closes at 23.30; access can not be gained after this time. The full charge will be made to the credit card given. The guest house is strictly non-smoking. Important information: credit card details are taken for security only. The guest house is not able to take Diners Club, Maestro, Switch or debit cards as security. If debit cards are given as security they will be charged the room rate plus 5 GBP handling fee on booking. This would be credited in full if paid in cash on the day. Payment is made on arrival to the guest house, either in cash sterling, euros or by credit/debit cards subject to an additional 5 GBP handling fee. The guest house is on the left. If you reach a small roundabout at the entrance to the airport, you have gone too far, go around the roundabout and come back on yourself by half a mile. From the A120 from Braintree: - Take the B1256 to Takeley. - After 3 miles turn right at the traffic lights. - Follow this road for one mile. The guest house is on the left. If you reach a small roundabout at the entrance to the airport, you have gone too far. Go around the roundabout and come back on yourself by half a mile. On foot: Outside the terminal, walk to your right. At the roundabout, take the exit to Takeley. At the mini-roundabout, turn right. Walk for one kilometre (10 minutes). The guest house is on the right. Airport transfer: Must be booked in advance direct with the guest house by email. Free airport transfers (excluding room only) between 16:00 and 23:00 and 06:00 and 10:00 (except Thursdays). Outside of this period, taxis cost 5 GBP. Transfers are only available AM on the 24th and 31st December, and no transfers are available on the 25th and 26th December and 1st January.
